How to get rid of this?.

To get rid of pest problems, call Certified Pest Control.

Bed Bugs, sometimes called “red coats” or “chinches”, are blood-feeding parasites of humans, bats, chickens and sometimes domesticated animals.  They are suspected of carrying diseases but it has never been proven.  They were nearly wiped out by the invention of DDT.  However, since 1995 there has been an increase in bed-bug-related complaints noticed by the pest control industry.

In homes, they usually hid during the day inside cracks and cervices in walls and furniture.  They can be transported on clothing, bedding, furniture and in luggage.  It is rare to ever find them on the host because they cannot cling to hair, fur or feathers.

BED BUGS
PEST CONTROL

Bed bugs are parasitic insects of the Cimicid family that feed exclusively on blood. There are several methods to control bed bugs.

Physical methods of controlling bedbugs include steam cleaning, vacuuming, heating, freezing, washing, and throwing out items. Bed bugs prefer to hide in cracks and crevices during the daytime and come out to feed on the host’s blood at night, usually while the host is sleeping. The pest control technician will usually give you specific instructions to prepare for an inspection or treatment.

The Certified Pest Control Technician can come periodically to monitor your home and help prevent an infestation with BED BUGS.
