How to get rid of this?.

To get rid of pest problems, call Certified Pest Control.

Silverfish are typically found in areas of high humidity with temperatures between 72 to 81 degrees F. They are usually only found indoors or in garages. They absolutely love to eat materials high in starches, glue and cellulose such as paper and book bindings.

Silverfish typically live two to eight years and do not like the light. They are very fast runners and therefore are difficult to catch or swat. They are excellent at hiding in small dark cracks or under papers.

Silverfish is the common name for members of the order Zygentoma. They are small wingless insects.

Silverfish are known for their destructive feeding habits. They can destroy books, important records, photographs, cloths and drapery. If you find any silverfish inside your home, maintaining low humidity, sealing holes and cracks as well as removing paper from cool damp areas can help control this pest.

The Certified Pest Control Technician can come periodically to monitor your home and help prevent an infestation with SILVER FISH.
